From June - October Traditional Music Concert
In the high season there is a traditional Music Concert each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30p.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door
5th-7th August 2011 - Dingle Races
Every year in August, the field at Ballintaggart changes into an enormous racetrack filled with horses, jockeys and horse racing enthusiasts from all over Ireland and the rest of the world. www.dingleraces.ie
3rd September - Dingle Marathon
The marathon takes place around the beautiful peninsula. A half, full and ultra marathon travel around some of the most stunning scenery in Ireland. www.dinglemarathon.ie
8th - 11th September 2011 - Dingle Tradfest
Dingle Tradfest is Ireland’s newest innovative Trad-Fusion Music Festival.
30th September - 2nd October Dingle Peninsula Food & Wine Festival
A wonderful weekend of Food ! A Taste Trail with over 50 outlets, cookery demonstrations in Sy. James Church. Workshops on beekeeping, cheesemaking, chocolate making, and hen keeping as well as well as Special menus in the restaurants, foraging walks and food market. www.dinglefood.com
Mid December - Other Voices
Other voices has become legendary in the music world. The picturesque town of Dingle provides the backdrop for a diverse mix of music at the intimate concerts held in St. James Church.
