Happiness is Horseriding
There is nothing more exhilaration or exciting than horseriding on the Dingle Peninsula and experiencing some of the most beautiful scenery in the world
Our two night package offers a two hour ride with professional guide and the stables is locate only 5 minutes drive from Castlewood.
Day 1
Overnight Accommodation in a superior room with Full Irish Breakfast
Day 2
Two Hour Mountain and Beach - Dingle Beach
Our two hour ride is a good option for experienced riders who don't have time for a half or full day ride.
The first hour follows the same route as the one hour on the mountain above Dingle. The second hour rides down through the town and onto the beach by the mouth of Dingle Harbour. Fungie is often spotted as we make our way along the sand towards Hussey's Folly Tower, although on the way back we may be going too fast for wildlife watching!
These rides usually leave the stables at 11am, and are tide dependent. If the tide is high we have an alternative route for the second hour, which has a place to canter and fords the river at Milltown before returning to the stables.
For mixed ability groups it is good to ride together for the first hour, before the experienced riders can enjoy an increase of pace for the second hour whilst those less experienced can return to the stables and recover their legs.
This is a two hour long trek which departs daily at 11:00.
This trek is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders only.....

Ryan’s Daughter Revival - Walking Package
Day 1 Arrival and overnight stay in a superior room with gourmet Irish Breakfast.
Day 2
Join us on one of the finest walks along the coast of Kerry hunting for the location of Ryan's Daughter the movie.
We will walk the path of the main street of the town know as 'Kiarrary' down to the ruins of the old school house in Dunquin . We will stroll along the cliffs looking over Clogher Head. Here your guide will share stories told locally of the making of this great movie and how it impacted on the local people.
This walk takes about 3 hours, you will also enjoy some great views of the Blasket Islands and learn of the local Bird life and fishing.

Enjoy a great full day’s walking on the Great Blasket Islands with a professional guide, following in the footsteps of the people who inhabited this beautiful island until 1953. Explore some of the peninsulas rich archaeological sites. Transport from Castlewood, Ferry trip, gourmet packed lunch and maps provided. (end March until end October)

Option 1.
We stride along the backbone of the Conor Pass with its beautiful mountain and ocean view’s, we will also walk through some of Irelands old bogs. As we descend into Dingle Town we look west towards the Atlantic and see the Blasket Island. Our walk should take about 3/4 hours. Professional Guide and transport to start of walk included.
