Castlewood House Vintage Afternoon Tea – we really love to offer this package which is served in our drawing room overlooking the bay. We offer a selection of finger sandwiches including Ted Browne’s organic smoked salmon, homemade sweet scones and a selection of pastries all served on Helen’s collection of vintage crockery

Wild Atlantic Seaweed Baths and SPA  Take a one hour Seaweed Bath in the newly opened  in Ballydavid located 25 minutes drive from Dingle utilising fresh seaweed harvested from the shores of Baile na Gall.

Private one hour cruise on Dingle Bay – this is a really lovely thing to do to have private hire of one of the pleasure boats that depart from Dingle Marina. The cruise will take you out past the sea caves and out to the mouth of Dingle Bay where you can enjoy the vista out to the Atlantic Ocean.  Who knows, you might just spot Fungi!

Private Tour of Dingle Distillery – the Dingle Distillery opened nearly three years ago and is located just 100 yards away from Castlewood House.  Enjoy a private guided tour through the history of whiskey making in Ireland, the whiskey making process and culminating in sampling the excellent Dingle Gin and Vodka Dingle, Terrific Ten -Celebrating 10 Years welcoming guests to Dingle

Cookery Lesson in Dingle Cookery School – Dingle Cookery School has been a resounding success  since opening. Located just 200 yards from Castlewood the school offers a huge range of lessons for cooks of all levels. They use the best of local produce and you will end your half day lesson with a dish to enjoy, and all course material, so that you can continue creating fantastic food at home.

Private demonstration in Dingle Crystal workshop with Master Craftsman Sean Daly. Sean learned his craft in the Waterford Crystal factory where he worked for many years before starting his own business in Dingle. Sean’s creative and exclusive designs all begin life in his own workshop on the Dingle peninsula and he will give you a hands on tutorial lasting approximately one hour.

wo hour Kayak with Dingle Adventures taking in sea caves – this is a brilliant morning or afternoon activity and you will get to experience the rugged beauty of Dingle Bay up close and personal – and experienced guide will give you all the information of the wildlife and you will finish up out with Fungie the famous Dingle Dolphin.

Ryan’s Daughter walk – Your own professional guide will take you on this most beautiful walk which will take two to three hours and takes in all the majestic sea coast beauty of the Dingle peninsula, enjoying the bird and sealife on the way. We will also send you off with a picnic basket full of Dingle produce including Tom Creans Beer and Dingle Dillisk Cheese.

Make your own Pot in Louis Mulcahy Pottery – make your own little memory to take away. Louis Mulcahy Pottery is located approx. 25 minutes drive away from Dingle on the most westerly point of the Dingle Peninsula. Here you will have a pottery lesson with an experienced potter and then your piece will be fired and delivered to your home in a few weeks.

Scenic two hour horse riding trek on Dingle Peninsula – Dingle horseriding accommodates beginners in search of fun and a memorable introduction to riding right through to experienced riders looking for exciting and challenging rides in the open country. The Cnoc an Cairn mountain trek takes you into the hills behind Dingle with views of the Atlantic ocean and its rugged off—shore islands. On the brow of the mountain the experienced riders are taken on the canter track while beginners continue on the scenic route
